Every image, a story.
I'M A STOREYTELLER WITH A LIGHT COMPLEX.
I left New York City because I couldn't see the moon rise and was drawn to the light of the desert. I see light and shadow everywhere. Through a crack of an old adobe, piercing a dark canyon, in the eyes of my subjects. This site was curated for people drawn to light, land and story. Light can transform any space. So I have made my light-based photography available as prints. Take a look here. Or visit the editorial section for stories about the borderlands in publications like The New Times, CNN and others. Say hello at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the studio at 111 S. Dean Street in Marfa. All are most welcome.

"Jessica's sense of aesthetic beauty moves beyond the edge of design today. Her vision reaches into the essence of the moment and captures, (whether in a photograph, the restoration of an ancient adobe wall, a sheer woven wrap the color of sand, or a scattering of words on a page), the roots of the future."
