Mission statement


My gift is seeing the essence of people—their core values, strengths, and potential—and aligning them with others, places, and opportunities that are resonant. I operate at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and intuition, with a natural ability to connect the dots in ways that matter.


That same ability to see clearly is also what draws me to branding—which, at its core, is about recognizing the essence of a person, project, or place, and translating it into a clear form.


Over the years, I’ve helped bridge founders, creatives, investors, public relations, and builders—often before the roles were clearly defined—because I see/feel the architecture before it exists. My role often starts with a conversation, and what often emerges are projects and partnerships that realize individual dreams and catalyze a greater vision—often beyond what was originally imagined.


Making meaningful connections has always come naturally. I hold the vision for multiple people and projects at once, and when I see a meaningful intersection that can move both visions forward, I make the connection. They are rarely one-sided—and tend to be mutually supportive and guided by a deeper sense of purpose.


While I can and do make one-off introductions, I’m most drawn to equity-aligned roles—where my ability to connect, clarify, and catalyze is recognized as part of the foundation.

As a co-architect of the collaboration, JL Consulting receives equity in the project or venture that emerges from the connection I’ve facilitated and helped shape.


– Consulting Retainer or Role

In an advisory or consulting role, we help hold the long-term vision, manage alignment between people, and ensure the integrity of the shared aesthetic, brand, or mission in an ongoing way.


– Success-Based Commission or Finder’s Fee

If a direct investment or funding is facilitated through our introduction, we receive receives a commission or fee based on the value of the deal.

If a partner receives a commission from a connection facilitated, we receive a commission or fee based on the value of the deal.


– Shared Business Ventures

Create the business model or platform that promotes a person or project—through forms such as books, courses, or media—the resulting business is structured as a shared equity venture between JL Consulting and the individual or entity it elevates.


– Co-Creation Partner

In cases where the project grows into a larger initiative or ecosystem, JL Consulting remains a core partner in its expansion—helping shape future strategy, partnerships, and growth.


Why defining my role matters


My role has often lived in the invisible: absorbing people’s visions, holding them in my mind and heart, and drawing in the right people, resources, and conditions needed to bring them to life. I move between worlds—between what’s emerging and what’s ready to take form—translating the unseen into the material.


Until now, this work has been hard to name. But defining what I do—and structuring how I can be rewarded—frees me to share more openly. It invites the right collaborators into the circle and ensures that everyone involved, including me, is honored for what they carry. This is the seed of a consulting practice—growing and connecting circles of aligned influence and purpose.
